We are committed to quality and a great customer experience.
We promote transparency as part of the valuation process.
We will promote strict adherence of federal and state regulations.
We will conduct business to the highest moral standards.
We will value our appraiser partnerships and support “reasonable and customary” fees.
We Certify That:
We value the appraiser’s independence, objectivity, and impartiality. Vesta employees who select appraisers or place orders are appropriately trained and have completed USPAP training.
We have strict policies and procedures to prevent the potential undue influence in the development, reporting, result, or review of an appraisal.
We give written instructions for appraisers to decline an assignment when the are not geographically competent or the assignment falls outside of the appraiser’s scope of practice.
We will not require an appraiser to complete an appraiseal under a time frame where, in the appraiser’s judgment, it would inhibit the appraiser from meeting all relevant legal and professional obligations. An appraiser always has the ability to decline an assigned order.
We will provide candid and constructive feedback to our panel appraisers.
Any appraiser removed for our panel will be provided prior written evidence that the appraiser has acted illegally, violated the minimum reporting standards or has had substandard performance or otherwise acted in an improper or unprofessional manner.
All appraisals received by panel appraisers are manually reviewed by Vesta review appraisers to insure conformity with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraiser Practice (USPAP).
Any substandard appraisals having significant USPAP violations will be reported to the appropriate state authority.
We will not prohibit an appraiser from reporting the fee they’re paid.
We will provide our client information regarding the fees paid to an appraiser.
Our order management system uses advanced analytics to track appraiser score-carding.
We maintain detailed record of each appraisal completed by a panel appraiser.
That our panel appraisers have five plus years of experience and maintain a license in good standing.
