Michael began his career in appraisal management more than ten years ago after working as an attorney in private practice.  During his career in real-estate services, he has worked in vendor management, account management, compliance, product development, project management, and sales.  In 2007 and 2008, Michael led a vendor management company that processed more than 1 million transactions per year.  In 2009, he left that role and returned to appraisal management leading client development and strategic initiatives.  Among his responsibilities was primary day-to-day ownership of a $110 million account with a top-five lender.  He also directed a team of account managers supporting more than 200 clients.  Michael has a wealth of experience with regulatory and compliance requirements.  He co-founded Vesta Valuation in 2010 and leads business development and strategic initiatives.

Michael studied Political Science at Kansas University and earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota.  He lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, with his wife, Karen, and their daughter.
